ABOUT #TIBOF2019

Attaining musical excellence has always been one of the many challenges of many directors. At TIBOF, we strongly believe in creating and providing a positive learning platform that will inspire our youth musicians. Directors can select their own programme to present in a non-competitive environment and receive comments to strive for growth and excellence. Through the festival, we also want to celebrate outstanding music making by the regional’s finest - encouraging exchange with other ensembles and strive for growth and excellence!

Greetings to all,

The focus of the inaugural Thailand International Band & Orchestra Festival (TIBOF) aptly captured as: “Inspiring our Youth” is aimed at promoting and inspiring our youth through band and orchestra. It also serves as a provision of opportunities and platform for exchange of musical information, ideas and interaction between different countries.

Arts and culture form the core of a people’s being and the essence of their existence. It is also an extension of their human expression. The role of arts and culture as catalysts to progressive multiculturalism will gain more recognition.

On behalf of the organisers and partners, we welcome you to join us in the inaugural Thailand International Band & Orchestra Festival in Bangkok where we will share the same performance platform for our youth to showcase, perform, learn and be inspired!
